Gobi Challenge in Karamay
On September 16, 2016, the 2016 China Production Vehicle Performance Competition (CCPC), known as the "China Automobile Olympic Games", officially kicked off in Karamay, the first stop of the final stage, and hundreds of mainstream brand models competed fiercely on the field for the highest honor. As the only official partner of the charging facilities of the Competition, MARUIKEL undertakes the important task of providing guaranteed charging services.
Karamay belongs to the temperate continental climate, in some parts the highest and lowest temperature can reach 46 °C and -40.5 °C respectively. Under the extreme environment, replenishment of new energy vehicles requires more reliable equipment and logistics support.
The 20 AC chargers and 4 DC chargers invested and built by MARUIKEL stably ensured the smooth progress of the whole event. Each DC charger has a built-in all-round safety module, so that it has powerful protection features such as input over-voltage and under-voltage protection, output over-under-voltage protection, short-circuit protection, over-temperature protection, over-current protection, and current reverse connection protection, bravely coping with the Gobi challenge in Karamay.

After the CCPC event, the MARUIKEL chargers that had an outstanding performance during the competition stayed in the Karamay area to continue providing charging services for local new energy vehicles. At the same time, in 2016, the chargers at the Turpan test site of CCCC Huoyan Mountain Automobile Testing Co., Ltd., which was built by CCCC First Public Bureau Group, were also like strong "warriors" persevering in the Xinjiang region.
From 2016 to 2022, during the 6-year period, these chargers have endured the extreme environments such as high altitude, large temperature difference between day and night, extreme cold and heat, and the Gobi Desert every day, serving new energy vehicles without interruption. Now, when we look at Xinjiang again, these "soldiers" are still on duty, running like new, quality as before, and service as ever! These chargers are not afraid of harsh environments and demonstrate MARUIKEL's strength and mission with high quality!
